A new launched Mac Pro (Dual Woodcrests) is really really a bargain machine. Both for Mac OS X and as a Windows or Linux Machine. Why? Because it price 1,100 dollars less than similar Dell Precision Workstation 690 (two Intel Xeon 5150 2.66GHz dual-core processors, 250GB hard drive, 2GB of 667MHz RAM, and 16x DVD burner).
Now if only Apple would open an office here and communicate to enterprise market this huge advantage. The time is key to everything. IF not then the price advantage itself would dissolve over the time.

I couldn’t be more agree with you about this point. The only thing that Apple need for now, is a great marketer.. and then, that IGOS thing won’t be our dream anymore.
Speaking of your words about mindshare, accessibility and marketshare, I guess Steve finally got your idea 🙂
Apple today have gained the mindshare and the accessibility, if I can pressume. It’s only about the marketshare.. I guess..

tapi dari segenap jajaran Intel Core 2 Duo/Solo (Core Microarcitecture: Conroe, Merom, Woodcrest), cuma woodcrest aja yg dipake oleh Apple Computers, yakni di Mac Pro dan Xserve …
mungkinkah Macbook Pro with merom akan segera hadir? the next iMac with conroe? atau bahkan “Macbook v2 (merom powered)” segera merevisi Macbook Yonah yang baru beberapa bulan ini?
