I was listening to the TV news yesterday mentioned about how much the government spent on 2004’s presidency election… aligned with my previous post on how much the politicians spent on election campaign … my jaws drop… it was 6,1 trillions rupiah (~ US$670,329,720) compares to 2001’s election when its only 13 billions rupiah (~US$1,428,571)… ouch… how expensive our democracy costs… Well… when executives and legislatives say we have to do the rough way by spending that much… I got nothing to argue… just remember that you’re using our people’s money. So keep in mind that you owe us a big favor in return. Just fixed this g*ddam country!
