Frankly said, I heard about the LuxPro “iPod Shuffle” fake just when it went public. It’s an old story. But to me I found a bit surprise when I struck my eyes on local electronics store in my small city, Bandung., that the fake iPod and accessories lying there in bulk!!

“The iPod Shuffle” available in 256MB and 512MB, while the earphone is for sale for only 3 dollars. Fiuhh… this is prove that iPod is a popular gadget, and now become a generic term.

Personally I don’t recommend you to buy the fake iPod Shuffle since it comes with lower quality, and the price is about the same the original one. But for earphone, I guess it depends, if you need an earphone for your personal use, better stick with your original, but if you want an earphone for let’s say your iBook or your PC laptop, this one is a steal. The quality is superb, though a bit noisy on lower frequency.

I even got a strange USB cable that has Apple logo on the end, and Sony logo on the other end… Wierd 😀 … but good quality. I find it nicely fit for my digital camera, functionally and esthetically 😛 …. I even passed one to Apple’s engineer that he said would be good for use in his White Sony PSP…

Steve, what’s next? Mac OS X for everyone??

Yeah, finally I got an internet connection and 50″ heaven to accompany me 😀 Horray!! What’s next? An Xbox 360?

Our company successfully approached ITB to use Mac as part of their diversity program. They owned lots of HP last years, running Windows and Linux. And now agreed to get them Mac. The idea is pretty simple, School of Business ITB is the most expensive school in this country, wants to get as many as prestigious the next generation Indonesia’s business persons, but how funny that is if they never had a chance to play with Mac. So head master thinks they should be able to understand any operating systems available therefore they will be the most compliant CEOs ever. I’ve seen lots of executives knows-nothing-the-tech, but not this. ITB is heading to the right direction. 1-0 for ITB.

So we implanted (excuse my language — can’t help myself)… 😛 28 eMacs and PowerMacs. And now we’re getting them Xserve and 30″ Cinema Display… enough to keep your mouth drools. So after 1 1/2 months hanging on the business delivery (I should say thanks to Lynette and Anthony from Apple for the hard works!), we finally get the machine setup last month.

Due fasting season, final exams and lots of vacancy in that month, we arranged the training would be available by this time. It was taking place yesterday 9:00AM to 04:00PM.

The training ran great. We brought lots of KitKat for students who participate actively in the sessions and answers lots of questions. We covered most of Mac perspectives from Mac OS X Tiger, iWork, iLife, Interoperability, and Common questions.

Mas Roy, ga ada capeknya nganalisa foto syur? Aduh… hare gene gitu loh. Beberapa waktu lalu saya ketika dapet kiriman paket foto tersebut* dari milis temen-temen, kaget juga. Hm.. 5 detik kemudian so what gitu loh. Tapi terus di beberapa milis dibahas omongan Mas Roy yang katanya foto itu adalah foto celluloid yang kemudian di scan. Pagi ini liat di tv loh kok katanya kameranya asli dengan resolusi fix 600×450. Ah so what gitu loh Roy… gituan segala kok dibahas. Ga capek lu?

Heran Partai Demokrat bisa-bisanya memilih ketua bidang kominfonya orang sekelas ginian. Don’t you have anything good, guys!! Gosssh!!!
